Fleur - RIDSH - Manu Forti's Miss Macha is out of Macha Breeze RID (Grey Macha RID) and T Bill's Demo
T.B (Icecapade Granddaughter). This mare is an extremely good looking mare who has great conformation
and moves very well. She looks like she has the makings to be a
top hunter under saddle and over fences. Fleur, as she is called
at home, 16hh and a medium build.
She has 120+ days under saddle and is established in her preliminary skills. She is still green so an experienced rider or someone working with a trainer is preferable to help bring her along. Fleur is a sweet and affectionate mare, who is also willing and tries to please. The inspectors at her breed inspection remarked that she is a lovely, well put together mare. She comes with a breeding to an up and coming Irish Draught stallion for 2008. Fleur is for sale as I am an internship program and do not have time for her anymore.
Fleur's dam is a Icecapade Granddaughter
by Neartic by Nearco (ITY) with other well known bloodlines of
Alibhai (G.B) and Count Fleet who won the Triple Crown, Native
Dancer, Hail to Reason etc and the Dam's family also has black
type in 3rd dam. Hyperion (G.B) appears 3 X in her Dam's pedigree.
Macha Breeze RID is a one of three approved purebred sons of Grey Macha RID worldwide, and the only one in North America. Grey
Macha RID, the winner of the Irish Draught Stallion class at the Royal Dublin Society show in 1985, has produced 435 total foals who
earned 355 Show Jumping of Ireland points through 1999. Grey Macha is by Pride of Toames RID out of Ballybane Grace RID. Pride of
Toames produced 470 foals total who earned 1278 Show Jumping, 71 Eventing, and 8 Dressage points in Ireland. Pride of Toames is by
Pride of Shaunlara RID (364 foals earning 919 Show Jumping, 315 Eventing, and 86 Dressage points).
Macha Breeze was imported into the USA after winning the Irish Draught yearling colt class and the Munster Joinery Championship at the
National Irish Draught Show in Ireland in 1999. He was broke to drive in 2001, and competed twice with his then owner. He was trained
in dressage by Kris Hamilton (r) in 2003. Kris describes him as a "Comfortable, easy to ride" horse who "loves to jump anything you put
in front of him".
Macha Breeze stands 16.2 hands with 10" of bone. He is an athletic horse with a lighter build then a traditional Irish Draught. He has a
beautiful head and eye, and he passes it on to his foals. His oldest foals are just beginning their careers under saddle, and they show his
light movement and athleticism.
This mare is going to be a superb sport horse and would
be most suitable for any discipline. $7,500.00. This mare is owned by Susan Royal, Derby Kansas.
