Quinnie is a lovely rose grey two year old purebred Irish Draught by Celtic Moon out of Hangon Bridget. She has a pedigree that will interest both the traditionalist and the performance breeder. Quinnie is linebred to the Irish Draught sire Skippy, who in turn sired the British Bred Irish Sport Horse stallion Jumbo. Jumbo is the sire of numerous CCI**** event horses, including the amazing Headley Brittania who won Burghley, Badminton, and Rolex. Quinnie is also linebred to Ben Purple, who in addition to being a superb purebred broodmare sire, was the damsire of CCI**** eventer Custom Made. Quinnie's dam Hangon Bridget is a near total outcross, being by the Powerswood Purple son Hangon Johnny out of the Banks Fee Daniel daughter Winmaur Bright Olive, who is a champion broodmare. "Bridie" is linebred herself to the RID stallion Tara. Tara was the damsire of both Clover Hill and Sea Crest (sire of Cruising). Quinnie's sire Celtic Moon is by the popular Irish sire Annaghdown Star who carries the lines of Pride of Shaunlara and Glenside, out of the King of Diamonds great granddaughter Hughie's Lady. Moon is a young stallion who may be found out and about doing a little bit of everything with his amateur owners. He has competed in eventing, hunter-jumpers, and dressage and is known for his wonderful temperament and good manners.
